Miami Neighborhoods Guide
Before purchasing a home, some of my clients ask me about the best Miami neighborhoods. I always answer that it’s impossible for me to choose. Miami is wonderful for its diverse places that cater to all needs and lifestyles. Let’s take a look at my pick of the best Miami neighborhoods.
South Beach
For an unforgettable night out
South Beach is known for its luxury shopping, crazy nightlife and restaurants acknowledged worldwide. Living in South Beach is probably not for the faint of heart – I wouldn’t suggest you move there if you’re starting a family any time soon. However, it’s the place to go for a weekend getaway with friends, on its gorgeous beaches and sunbleached coast. The eclectic melting pot of famous views like Ocean Drive and Lummus Park Beach and buzzing club makes South Beach a remarkable location.
Brickell
For hip young adults
Brickell is rapidly growing, becoming the most popular neighborhood for young, hip adults. Its trendy nightlife, affluent shopping options, great restaurants, and first-class developments are luring in the Millenials at an astounding rate. It’s a perfect place if you’re young and energetic, looking for a fast-paced social life and popular surroundings.
Edgewater
The scenic and animated neighborhood
Edgewater is probably going to be your best bet if you’re looking for a centrally-located home, looking out on beautiful views of Biscayne Bay. It is surrounded by the Miami Design District, minutes away from the most sought-after wining and dining locations in the city. It’s a buoyant and animated area – there’s never a dull moment in Edgewater. Those who live nearby can benefit from the fresh air and green sights provided by Margaret Pace Park and Biscayne Park.
Upper East Side
A mix of old and new
Miami’s Upper East Side is a place of highly regarded schools and great cultural offerings. It’s a number one choice for young professionals seeking a lively neighborhood, with enough room to grow a family. The Upper East Side houses a mix of old and new, instant access to the waterfront, and great restaurants. You’ll be able to choose from single family homes and newer high rises.
Coral Gables
As chic as can be
Coral Gables is known by many as the most beautiful neighborhood in Miami. You’ll find canopied streets, breathtaking architecture, gorgeous parks, chic stores, delicious restaurants, and glamorous cafes. The Biltmore Hotel will give you serious Gatsby vibes – if you’re looking for the most elegant neighborhood in Miami, Coral Gables is the place.
